Our Mission was simple:
Create intimate wear that not only looked good, but literally made you feel good.
We wanted to develop a product that can change your life. This small piece of fabric, that is oftentimes overlooked, can actually have the largest impact on your day.
After extensive research to understand what materials many other brands are using, we found it pretty clear that our health was not their highest priority. Research has shown that bacteria can multiply 1.5 to 2 Times faster on synthetic fabrics compared to natural ones. Materials like polyester, nylon, and spandex have poor air permeability, which contributes to heat buildup and can cause sweating and discomfort during extended wear, harboring bacteria. One study found that 30-60% of polyester fabrics have been treated with chemicals such as formaldehyde, which can cause skin irritation that has been linked to more serious health risks, like cancer, with prolonged exposure. These were
problems we refused to settle for.
We knew we deserved more. We knew Women deserved more.
So we started UH2.
Initially we simply wanted to create a pair of underwear that were Moisture wicking, Naturally breathable, and Odor resistant. However after some time of researching the materials that were being used to create the underwear that you know and love(d), we found that they were actually
doing more harm than good.
These synthetic materials were causing a variety of problems; vaginal infections, rashes, disrupt your natural pH levels, irritation, bacteria build up, and even long term problems such as infertility.
With UH2, we set our goal to be the first ever brand to not only make a product that was comfortable, contemporary, and sustainable, but a product that would Have a
Positive Impact on your Health.
From our materials, to our production process, we keep your well-being and the Earth At the forefront of our mind. We find it no coincidence that the materials we utilize in our products that are good for your body are made from the Earth.
